Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of a course (70% or higher), you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion through your online student account. If you enroll in more than one course, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of each course.
Accuracy of Student Records
123ce.com complies fully with the Family Education and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. This act is designed to protect the privacy of educational records, to establish the rights of students to inspect and review their educational records, and to provide guidelines for the correction of inaccurate or misleading data through informal and formal hearings.
A student who believes that an error has been made in assessment of a grade must initiate contact with 123ce within 30 days from the date the grade was posted. Failure to act within 30 days disqualifies the student from further consideration of the matter.
The student is responsible for reporting any other type of error on their Certificate of Completion, including correct spelling of the student’s name and address. 123ce.com is not liable for unreported errors on student records.
EXAMS & GRADING
You’ll be evaluated based on your lesson examinations. 123ce courses are designed much like traditional classroom courses, but instead of being compared with other students, your progress is measured by how well you meet the learning objectives.
Please complete your examinations on time. You’re free to study at your own pace, but all coursework must be finished within six (6) months — or within one (1) year for 50-hour business courses. Most students complete their course in about a month or less.
After you finish an exam, you’ll receive an electronic Grade Report showing the correct answers and the reference pages for any questions you missed. Each exam is scored on a numerical basis. Once you’ve completed all course requirements, your final grade will be the average of your exam grades.
If you score 69% or lower on a test, you may choose to retake it. A new test will automatically become available online for any failed exam. According to 123ce’s policy, if you pass a retest, your maximum possible score will be 70%, regardless of your actual retest performance. If you don’t achieve the minimum passing grade (70%) on your retest, your higher failing score will be used to calculate your final average. No additional retesting opportunities are available.
STUDY MATERIALS
At the center of your learning experience is the 123ce.com Study/Learning Guide. These guides are designed specifically to support independent study. If your course is 10 hours or longer, you’ll use the Study Guide along with an e-book. For courses that are less than ten hours, you’ll use a Learning Guide — no e-book required.
Your Study or Learning Guide replaces traditional classroom lectures. It explains in detail what you’re expected to learn and understand, outlines the steps to help you master the material, and helps you track your progress. You’ll work through the guide and complete assignments at your own pace. Multiple-choice exams are used to measure how well you’ve understood the course content.
All your study materials are available in your Online Student Center account
