History of 123ce.com

The 123ce.com, Inc. (123ce), formerly the American Academy of Independent Studies (AAIS), was incorporated in 1984 in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Beginning in 1985, all training programs developed by 123ce were submitted to the American Culinary Federation Educational Institute (ACFEI) in Saint Augustine, Florida for review and approval. Our courses meet the highest standards for continuing education requirements.

In 1993, 123ce.com received approval from the American School Food Service Association (currently the School Nutrition Association), Alexandria, Virginia, and the International Food Service Executives Association, Margate, Florida. Additional approvals have been secured from the Dietary Managers Association, American Dietetic Association, and the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.

123ce.com has expanded upon its original training programs by developing courses in the food service industry and related subjects. Courses include Management, Sanitation, Supervision, Nutrition, Computers, Cost Control, and Time Management.

In 2012, the school had a name change to 123ce.com. Two years later, 123ce began offering continuing education to Legal Assistants (CLE) through NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants). Because of the need for additional CLE options, 123ce implemented 37 additional courses approved through NALS (the association for legal professionals).

123ce offers open admission, operates year-round, allowing students to begin at any time. Current and prospective students may contact 123ce Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. All written and telephone inquiries (800.830.5142) are welcome.
